The main goal of the project was to equip us with the tools and mindsets necessary to promote social inclusion among youth.
Six countries participated in the project (Poland, Lithuania, Slovakia, Hungary, Türkiye, and Romania), bringing together 25 participants in total.
The training course showed me which problems people with disabilities may face and how to work towards their social inclusion. I learned how to talk about exclusions and understood the scale of difficulties faced by socially excluded people.
Through non-formal education, the trainers showed us solutions and ways of helping people with fewer opportunities. The atmosphere throughout the entire stay was very friendly and family-like. Each participant had a chance to share their experiences and perspectives on a given situation.
The accommodation was of a high standard, and the food was tasty (although monotonous). The city of Kaunas was very charming, and with the opportunity of having half a day off, we were able to see all of the most interesting spots. As for the Polish LEVEL UP organization, everything was at the highest level, the coordinator was in constant contact with the group and always solved problems quickly. I would like to thank my Polish group, with whom I had great interactions during my entire stay. We all supported each other and thanks to you, the stay was even better.
International trips present us with new challenges, help us develop communication skills, adapt to different cultures, cope with a variety of situations, and develop overall self-awareness. I think that Erasmus+ programs are wonderful opportunities of the modern era, and I recommend that everyone try them at least once in their lives (and I know that they won’t end with one!).

The project aimed to broaden our knowledge and provide us with tools that will help us better fight the problem of exclusion of young people from social life, in particular groups more vulnerable to this problem, such as people with disabilities or with other sexual orientations.
The atmosphere during the entire project was very friendly, each participant could freely express their views at any time, without fear of being criticized or judged. Thanks to the fact that the project placed great emphasis on sharing experiences, I learned a lot from the other participants and the project organizers, while also broadening my horizons and opening myself up to getting to know other cultures better.
I really liked the location of the project, the city of Kaunas. The city was very calm, but also well-kept and very nicely decorated, it certainly made a greater impression on me than the capital of Lithuania, Vilnius. The accommodation was also of the highest standard, and the meals were home-cooked, so I could not say that I felt insatiable even once after the meal.
As for the support of the LEVEL UP organization, it was at a very high level. Everything was carried out in a very reliable manner and, if there were any questions or uncertainties, the coordinator was in constant contact with us and was always willing to help. I want to thank the Polish group, with whom I had the pleasure of going on this project. We immediately found a common language and got along great throughout the trip.
I highly recommend trips like this one to anyone my age, younger or older. Thanks to this experience, I became more open to people and learned to speak freely in front of a larger group. It can also be treated as a chance to break down your barriers and I recommend it to anyone who would like to start communicating better in English.
