I was surprised by the hospitality and openness of the locals…

I gained many valuable lessons from the project regarding peace and conflict within the framework of the Erasmus program. I learned that conflicts are a natural part of life and there are ways to solve them in peace. Also, I managed to conduct my own workshops, where I presented the importance of cooperation. Meeting with the participants from various countries was very inspiring. Their diverse views on the subject enriched my perspectives.

I was surprised by the hospitality and openness of the locals. Their willingness to share their culture was extremely inspiring. The cuisine was remarkable, and the local people were full of enthusiasm to cooperate and exchange thoughts. I’m grateful for the chance to participate in the project and gaining new perspectives and friendships. This experience expanded my horizons and allowed me to better deal with conflicts. During the conflict simulation, we had so much fun as the people who were usually calm engaged in fierce discussions and passionately played the roles.

LEVEL UP provided support at every stage of the project, from the preparations before the trip to the reflections after returning. I’d like to thank all the participants for an inspiring experience. I greatly appreciate the professionalism of the organisers in creating a wonderful space to learn and cooperate. I would especially like to thank LEVEL UP for the possibility to grow!
I encourage you to participate in non-formal education mobilities as they provide a unique opportunity for personal and professional development. During such mobilities, the participants have a chance to gain new skills, make international contacts and broaden their horizons through direct contact with different cultures. Not only is this a chance to learn, but also a chance to be independent, gain confidence and develop interpersonal skills. Non-formal education mobilities may contribute to a more open, tolerant and globally-minded society.

It is a great opportunity to learn about different cultures and expand your horizons…

The project showed me that conflicts are everywhere. However, everything depends on our approach and the solutions we apply when they escalate. We learned how to define a conflict and learned about different forms of its solution. During one of the workshops, we saw what kinds of conflicts appear in other countries, which allowed me to look at everything from a broad perspective. During the training, we shared knowledge about our countries, customs and tried traditional dainties.
I’m happy that I could take part in the training and spend nine days in the charming place that is Stuttgart.
Any issues where I had doubts were explained by the project coordinators from LEVEL UP, so I felt confident.
I encourage you to participate in non-formal education mobilities, as this is a great opportunity to learn about different cultures, expand your horizons and have an awesome adventure.

It is a great opportunity for young people to learn about various ways of thinking…

Training course in Sttutgart was a wonderful adventure. That was my first Erasmus project abroad. I learned about the ways of solving conflicts. There were covered various conflict aspects including geopolitical aspects at the training.
I met many wonderful people from various countries: Germany, Italy, turkey, Latvia, Poland, Bulgaria.
I didn’t eat the food given at the project as it wasn’t fresh, and basic hygiene rules weren’t respected during the food preparations.
The cooperation with LEVEL UP was very professional, which I’m thankful for.
I encourage you to participate in non-formal education mobilities, as this is a great opportunity for young people to learn about different cultures and learn about different ways of thinking.

And so was the project: diverse in its participants and their personalities…

Stuttgart: a place where the national diversity is noticeable, as this area has a high percentage of immigrants/refugees. And so was the project: diverse in its participants and their personalities. And how do find yourself here? The answer is very simple: through conversations. Also, our training course was based on conversations, as is the way to find solutions to smaller and bigger conflicts. We supported each other while breaking down the causes into smaller factors. This showed us that conflicts are not something to be scared of, but they may lead to creating new and more effective solutions.
I’m grateful to our Polish delegation for representing our country together at the cultural evening, for the workshop and for the great time spent after the activities. It was great!
Also, I would like to thank LEVEL UP for their care, but especially for making such an experience possible.
I encourage you to participate in non-formal education mobilities. By deciding to participate, you are already taking a step forward into the sphere of unavailable knowledge in a traditional school. You will gain the perspectives of people living in different conditions and have different opportunities. Despite the differences, do we still have the same dreams and goals? Go out and find out!
