Duration of the project

The project includes a series of activities aimed at strengthening parenting skills, as well as providing a space for exchanging experiences, sharing difficulties, and finding support both from specialists and within the community of other parents. We want parents to be able to take care of their health and comfort so then they can pass this on to their children in the process of upbringing. We aim to equip parents with essential knowledge and skills useful in everyday life, so they can fulfill the role of parenting more consciously, supporting their children while also taking care of their own needs.

This is a project for people who:

  • want to enhance their knowledge about the topic of human development and children upbringing
  • want to build good family relationships
  • want to support their potential in the right way
  • want to take care of their children’s mental health
  • want to better manage their time
  • feel burnt out in their parenting role
  • whose children present challenging behaviors

Activities that will be conducted in the project:

Five workshops

  • ,, Upbringing from the perspective of… relation”, aimed at equipping participants with knowledge regarding building a healthy and close parent-child relationship (April)
  • ,, Upbringing from the perspective of… health”, aimed at developing participants’ skills in supporting their children’s mental health (May)
  • ,,Upbringing from the perspective of… time”, aimed at developing participants’ time management skills in the context of raising children, introducing the concept of work-life balance, and teaching children time management skills (June).
  • ,, Upbringing from the perspective of… consultancy”, aimed at familiarizing parents with the educational and career counseling themes, so they know how to support their children in career choices (August).
  • ,, Upbringing from the perspective of… well-being”, aimed at showing parents the importance of caring not only for their children but also for themselves, their health, well-being, and mental comfort (September).

A discussion meeting with a moderator ,, Upbringing from a parent’s perspective”, aimed at creating a space for parents to share parenting difficulties, developing coping methods for various situations, integrating with other parents, and facilitating the finding of a support group among individuals facing similar challenges (October).”

A concluding meeting of the project, intended for both project participants and those who did not participate. It will be an opportunity to present conclusions drawn from individual events and to demonstrate the values and benefits arising from participation in solidarity projects under the European Solidarity Corps.
