Orientation visit for Lane Kirkland Scholarship recipients
The Lane Kirkland Scholarship Programme has been supporting the individual development of young, ambitious and active citizens of Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus and Central Asia for more than 20 years. The Programme aims to share the Polish experience of systemic transformation and integration into the European Union. Among the nearly 1,000 graduates of the Programme are members of governments, parliamentarians, managers of large multinational corporations, heads of local government bodies and well-known community activists.
The Kirkland Programme offers two-semester scholarships for continuing studies at Polish universities. Young leaders and experts from 11 countries with a university degree are eligible to apply for the scholarship: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan interested in the development of democracy, economy and civil society in their countries and the region.
