New ways for the immigrants to accelerate in labor market

The project aims to help youth workers understand how to use mechanisms that will accelerate the integration of refugees into the labour market. Through the project, youth workers will be able to improve refugee skills, social integration status, skills profiling and professional matching, thus facilitating their entry into the local labour market.

Activities to be carried out in the project:

The training will be attended by 37 people from 11 countries who work in institutions and organisations related to migrants and refugees, as well as people with volunteering experience
The training will last 7 days and a cultural evening will also be held

What we do during the project:

We learn about methods to reduce linguistic, civic and intercultural barriers between refugees and the host community in order to facilitate refugee employment.
We learn to map and profile the skills of refugees and migrants in order to meet the needs and gaps in the local labour market.
We reveal the problems refugees face in social and business life and the institutional efforts to address these issues.
We learn about the opportunities that refugees and immigrants can take advantage of in the context of employment.
We create solutions that will increase the participation and integration of refugees and immigrants in social and business life, according to the opportunities learned during the training course
