Master of body and mind
Project Masters Of Body And Mind aims to promote a healthy and active lifestyle among young people and show them that physical activity can be fun and accessible to everyone. Workshops implemented during the project will be based on non-formal education methods. The goal of the project is to encourage young people with fewer opportunities to take up physical activity and make positive changes in their daily lives and communities.

Activities to be undertaken in the project:
Youth exchange for 36 people from 6 countries (Lithuania, Poland, Estonia, Moldova, North Macedonia, Slovakia) including activities such as:
- Expanding knowledge about physical activity and its positive effects on the body and mind
- Raising participants’ awareness
- Working with the use of non-formal education methods
- Working in international groups in English
- Visiting the Traditional Crafts Center in Upytė, Lithuania
- Field activities and a hike in the forests of Krekenava Regional Park
- Cultural evenings to learn about the customs and food of partner countries
What we do during the project:
- try different forms of physical activity (yoga, acro-yoga, Monkey Fighting technique, or hiking in the woods)
- raise awareness about various mental health practices (meditation, sand therapy, essential oil workshops)
- present the “Youth Passport” and its 8 core competencies
- focus on getting to know each other, building community and trust between participants and the entire team
- present a “Card of good deeds” that will be useful for sharing the contribution of each participant
- spend time in nature with full awareness and mindfulness using mindfulness techniques
