Grupka dziewczyn na wzgórzu.

In the rush of everyday life, we forget what it’s like to get in touch with another person, really notice them and experience moments together.

This project made me realize this is a value worth living for. Thanks to the group, which created an atmosphere of mutual trust and acceptance, I was able to open up and be myself, and that was beautiful. I had a lot of interesting and important conversations, which was certainly enhanced by being surrounded by nature and feeling cut off from the outside world. The activities were very well organized so that we could move, but also learn something new in a free form, allowing everyone to share their own knowledge and experiences. I appreciated very much this space for reflection, and every task that was creative and required active participation filled me with joy, and energy and was most developing.

The biggest barrier for me was the timing of the trip, which meant that my duties were done in the evenings and I couldn’t spend as much time with others as I would have liked. Nonetheless, this was also a lesson for me about the organisation and the combination of different aspects that are important to me.

The meals were always well prepared with elements of local cuisine, which was a plus for me, although as a vegetarian I missed the variations. The people working in the accommodation were very friendly and other local people were always sympathetic.

I also felt safe because I knew that there was always someone I could count on from the organization and who I could ask for help, for example with transportation. LEVEL UP made sure that I was well informed at every stage and that the Polish team harmonized well with each other.

Thank you to the LEVEL UP organization for giving me the opportunity to participate in such a well-planned project and organize the seminar, for their positive energy and implementing great ideas!

Not only will you improve your English, learn about new cultures, and explore an interesting topic, but you’ll also get to know yourself more deeply through the unique relationships you’ll make with other people. Each person you meet is different, and has completely different life and experiences from you, and a trip like this allows you to make connections you may not meet every day. International trips in a nutshell: development on all surfaces.

What an adventure that was! Even in my wildest dreams, I wouldn’t have been able to imagine such a good project!

Before the trip, I was a little worried that the seminar on sports would… defeat me. However, we found that all activities were reasonably matched to the level of the group. We moved around a lot, but all within reason and in the spirit of inclusiveness. I even had the opportunity to go kayaking for the first time! And in what picturesque circumstances! I never dared to do it before, but here… I received gentle encouragement and full support. Perfect conditions for trying new activities!

I am very grateful for the opportunity to participate in this project – it was a really good quality seminar – with very good trainers (I refreshed the first aid training, among other things), interesting speakers, and really phenomenally selected people with whom I enjoyed spending time. I will remember this trip for a long time to come!

I encourage you to participate in non-formal education mobility because I can confidently say that they change lives. Not only do they prove that it is possible to successfully acquire knowledge outside the rigid structures of formal education, but they also give you the chance to practice foreign languages in the most natural settings (when you just care about getting along with someone) and to make lifelong friends.

The project focused on introducing sports as a tool for working with young people.

For me, the activities conducted at the project were very tailored to the topic, and the trainers were professional and knowledgeable. Fully aware of the goals of the project, I can say that they have been met. The seminar took place in the mountains away from the larger metropolitan area, this was a big plus in my opinion, as we spent a lot of time outdoors.  I also have nothing to complain about the organisation of the project, contact with Slobodan, the organizer of the project, was trouble-free. Transportation to the location of the project was arranged, according to the arrival times of the participants, so everyone arrived on the day of their scheduled arrival. In addition to activities in the conference room, we also had organized excursions. The first was a day trip to the mountains, where we walked 21 kilometres with a local guide. Our next trip was to the Mother Canyon, where we boarded canoes and paddled on the river for 2 hours. It was the highlight of the project for me.  I rate the entire project as very well organized and executed.

I recommend such trips as much as possible because you can learn a lot of things about yourself, other people and the subject of the project. Strong ties are also being established with other people, from other countries and cultures.
