This project became one of my favourite experiences because I acquired knowledge and gained valuable skills.
Above all, I learned how to use slang when working with young people and how artificial intelligence can be beneficial, not harmful. I also discovered new techniques and ways to create better communication with young people through trends and memes. I met 16 amazing people from around the world. There was a girl from Indonesia, a guy from Kazakhstan, and participants from Italy, Romania, Greece, Estonia, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia – everyone became a part of this wonderful experience.
Slovenia impressed me with its nature. We stayed in a small town surrounded by mountains and beautiful hills.
The facilitators were wonderful; I really enjoyed talking to them, as they were very kind and welcoming. The food was also amazing, we had many very tasty dishes and even tasted local cuisine. LEVEL UP Association, as always, was wonderful; the support and preparation were at a very high level.
My biggest challenge was probably my age, as there were participants older than me, so our perception of slang, social media and trends was different. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to participate in this project because it was really valuable and interesting. We had many funny moments, and we met to play board games, sing or just chat every evening. We also started using a lot of slang words, which was very funny because at the beginning of the project, we talked a lot about them and discussed why young people use these words, and then we started using them ourselves.
As I mentioned before, the support from LEVEL UP Association was excellent; I received all the information I needed and a lot of help. Above all, I’d like to thank the LEVEL UP Association for allowing me to participate and gain knowledge. Secondly, I’m very grateful to the MC Idrija organisation for creating such an interesting and valuable project.
I’ll definitely recommend such projects to my friends and people of my age. I always try to share them on my social media to encourage people to participate in Erasmus+ trainings and exchanges.
