Zajęcia grupowe podczas wymiany młodzieżowej 5PS: PEOPLE, PLANET, PROSPERITY, PEACE, PARTNERSHIP

A trip within the framework of the project “Emancipatory Simulations for Inclusive Societies” was one of the most inspiring experiences in my life…

Thanks to participating in the training I gained not only new knowledge but also abilities I can use in my job and everyday life. Themes connected with inclusiveness and diversity turned out to be fascinating and the possibility of working in international groups allowed me to much better understand
the perspectives that were discussed. During the project, I met many amazing people, and participants from various countries, as well as organisers. I will remember our integrating events when we could get with each other, and share the history, music and traditions of our countries.

The biggest surprise for me in Lithuania was their calmness and kindness in everyday life. The residents were very open and helpful which made me feel comfortable. When it comes to cuisine I discovered that Lithuanian culinary tradition is extremely tasty – cepelinai won my heart!

When it comes to support given by the LEVEL UP Association – they always helped us out with everything! Before the trip, we received detailed information about the project and crucial instructions. During the training,
the organisers were always available and made sure we felt comfortable. In particular, a big thank you to Eleonora, who answered all the insistent questions I asked her 🙂 It was my first project, but I hope we will have another chance to meet in the future.

I’m extremely grateful for the possibility to participate in this project. Especially, I would like to thank the organisers who created a warm and inspiring atmosphere. Applause to Julia and Lorenzo, who have organised for us a week full of intense exercises. Such trips allow you not only to gain knowledge but also to get to know yourself and your capabilities. I surely recommend international travel to all my peers. This experience opens your eyes to the world, builds your confidence and creates unforgettable memories. If you have a chance to participate in such a project – not give it another thought!

The biggest value of this project was people. I met faces from different countries and cultures which was amazingly inspiring for me…

The project was an amazing experience I’ll remember for a long time. I was most impressed by the facilitators – Julia and Atanas – who put a lot of heart into making each participant feel part of the group. Thanks to them these workshops were not only interesting but also engaging and tailored to each of us.

Diversity and openness of participants are something that make such projects unique. The location, although a bit isolated, favoured building relationships which was a big plus for me.

Apart from workshops we also had many additional attractions offered such as a tour around Vilnius, evening in the sauna or intercultural evenings. All this allowed us to get to know each other better and spend time in a fantastic atmosphere. I was surprised by the organisation at such a high level – every element was well planned.

I’m thankful for the support from LEVEL UP – both before and during a project I felt that I could count on their help. I would especially like to thank Julia and Atanas for creating an unforgettable atmosphere and all the participants for their openness and open-heartedness.

This experience taught me to collaborate in a group, and to be open to other cultures and gave me
the motivation for further development. I recommend everyone ☺

From this project, I gained a lot, but the most important is to be open and despite your own opinions try to look at something from a different perspective…

I learned to work in a group and under the pressure of time. I met amazing people from different parts of the world.

It was surprising for me to see so many similarities with Poland. Cuisine was homemade and a bit similar to Polish one.

The biggest barrier was the weather because, despite suitable clothes, it was definitely colder than in Poland. Another problem was also lack of sun.

I am grateful for creating a comfortable atmosphere where everyone could speak up and not feel evaluated.

There were many funny situations, such as national dances from cultural evenings. I gained constant support from LEVEL UP – before, during and after the project.

I recommend this event to everyone who wants to broaden their horizons and have a memory for the rest of their lives.
