Festiwal Sportowy w Budapeszcie

Marvellous two days spent with amazing people…

It was my first project during which I participated in an international sports festival. Marvellous two days spent with amazing people!

At the time of this festival, I had an opportunity to take part in many activities such as table tennis, running, and it was the first time I played rugby and jiu-jitsu. Together with participants from countries like the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, we created a marvellous sports team that motivated others to action. The project lasted only 2 days, but I felt like I spent a whole week there because of the number of activities we managed to do. After this project, I came back home with much bigger motivation to act and play even more sports.

I strongly recommend international projects. Thanks to them, I learned the most. There are opportunities to do things that have never been done before: try new flavours, learn new languages and cultures, and create beautiful memories that will stay with us forever.

But what I will remember most are the valuable conversations…

This trip was an exceptional experience for me because it was my first project in which I had an opportunity to participate. Frankly speaking, I was not only very excited but also stressed about whether everything would work out.

I remember the Sports Festival best because I met many amazing people there, with whom I participated in many different competitions. For the first time, I had the possibility to learn such dances as bachata and salsa, and also try to practice jiu-jitsu. However, what I enjoyed the most was learning how to play rugby.

During the entire project, we managed to create a very harmonious team together with participants from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. We visited a big part of Budapest and also tasted local food (kalaches with pistachios and langos were delicious).

But what I will remember most about this trip is the valuable conversations and time spent together. If I could, I would pack up now and fly to participate in this project one more time in the same place and with the same people.

It is an incredible possibility to meet new people and overcome language barriers. I definitely recommend such trips; they make for wonderful memories.

However, the most turned out to be the friendships I made with participants from different countries…

The Sport Festival in Budapest was for me a precious experience in terms of personal development and just plain fun. The sports and dance workshops gave me a lot of satisfaction, and participating in various activities allowed me to meet new people.

During this festival, I had an opportunity to make my debut in a professional chess tournament. It was an interesting challenge and a good opportunity to check out one’s own abilities in a group of experienced players.

However, the most important turned out to be the friendships I made with participants from different countries. These relationships will forever remain in my heart, and the moments spent together during the festival are pleasant memories I will return to.

In a few years, you can either be a mature person, rich in experience with a heart full of memories or regret not using the time you had to do something valuable; it all depends on you;). Live a life you will remember #LALYWR
