SE-RURAL 2.0

The SE-RURAL 2.0 project is intended for youth workers and leaders. The project aims to equip youth workers, especially those from less privileged rural and urban areas, with the necessary entrepreneurship skills. The training course aims to counter unemployment among young people through promoting local cultural initiatives, self-employment and craft entrepreneurship. It is specifically addressed to youth workers focused on economic, social and geographic issues, supporting the fight against social exclusion and promoting active participation in social life. The project will bring together professionals from nine European countries, including Italy, and will provide support from an experienced trainer, mentor and coordinator. Professionals will guarantee holistic support and motivation for participants.

Activities to be undertaken in the project:

• • Promoting local cultural initiatives and self-employment in socially excluded areas
  • Supporting the fight against social exclusion 
  • Meetings with participants from various European countries, exchange of experiences and ideas
  • Consulting experienced mentors and trainers as a support and inspiration for action 

What we do during the project:

• The participants will gain valuable practical skills enabling them to support local cultural projects and promote self-employment, especially in less privileged rural and urban areas.
• The workshops will focus on economic, social and geographic issues in order to tackle social exclusion and increase young people’s engagement in social life.
• The participants will have an opportunity to present their ideas and experiences of entrepreneurship and youth work, which will help in developing innovative approaches to the problem of youth unemployment.
