POGADAJMY (Let’s talk)

This social project is aimed at people who, for various reasons, have limited opportunities to interact with other people. It involves pairing up people who are interested in similar things – participants and volunteers meet online to have casual, meaningful conversations for 3 months.

Actions that will be taken during a project:

• Creating a partner relationship – participants and volunteers are paired up on the basis of common interests and preferences to ensure the best possible match and comfort in conversations.
• Online meetings and continuous evaluation – regular conversations in pairs enabling integration, exchange of experiences and emotional support. Meetings are regularly evaluated to ensure their effectiveness and the safety of both parties.
• A film summing up this edition – publication of video material, which is made available for advertising and educational purposes, that documents the processing of this programme, the experiences of participants, and its impact.

What we do during the project:

• We create a space for conversations and support,  helping people who feel excluded to establish valuable relationships and feel part of the community.
• We strengthen self-confidence and sense of belonging – by regular conversations, we help participants to open up to other people and recognise their strengths.
• We increase awareness on the subject of loneliness and isolation by promoting openness and empathy.
• We develop communication and interpersonal skills by teaching active listening, open expression of our thoughts and building valuable relationships.
• We counteract exclusion by offering emotional support and the possibility to establish relationships.
• We popularise the idea of dialogue and mutual help by engaging participants in volunteer initiatives.
• We create inspiring content – we record and publish a film summarising the edition of the project that promotes openness and dialogue.
