Krok w dorosłość (A step into adulthood)

The project is directed to the students of high school from grades 3-4 and students of technical school from grades 3-5 from small towns in Łódzkie Voivodeship. 

The project aims to provide young people with practical skills that will help them plan their careers and manage their finances in a more conscious way. 

The project addresses the real needs of young people, providing them with tools for a better start in adult life. Career guidance in schools doesn’t always address the needs of students, which makes it difficult for them to make educational and professional decisions in a conscious way.  

The students will gain skills useful in planning their future through participation in the project. They will become more aware of possible career paths. The project aims to ensure a bold entry into adulthood by young people, thanks to better knowledge of oneself and one’s own capabilities. 

The following activities will be taken in the project:

• Meeting with a letting agent – a brief guide on apartment rental,
• Meeting with a guidance counsellor,
• Meeting with a psychologist,
• Meeting with a legal advisor,
• Webinar on starting and managing one’s own business,
• Webinar on CV writing and creating one’s own image on the labour market,
• Individual consultations with experienced advisers, which will be helpful in conscious decision-making on one’s future career,

What we do during the project:

• We develop our soft skills that boost confidence and increase motivation for further education and job searching.
• We provide practical instruments for career planning and financial management.
• We help the participants get to know their capabilities and consciously choose their career path.
• We help young people enter adulthood more confidently and with greater awareness of their choices.
