Invisible Strings
The “Invisible Strings” project was created in response to the mental health problems increase among young people in Europe. Statistics show that as many as 1 out of 4 people aged 18-25 experiences mental health difficulties with depression and anxiety being the most common problems. Additionally, in many countries access to psychological support is limited, which extends the time of waiting for help. The initiative created for young people aims to combat the stigmatisation of mental health problems and to educate them about available alternative methods of looking after wellbeing.
The project is based on a two-phased approach. The first phase is to raise awareness about mental health and the factors that influence it. The second phase focuses on learning advanced techniques such as yoga or meditation, that help achieve inner peace and self-awareness. The project aims to support young people to cope with the challenges of everyday life better.
