To increase the competence of youth workers in stimulating the integration and empowerment of disadvantaged young people (including youth with mental health problems) through nature-based methods and activities.

The training will be attended by 36 participants from Sweden, Romania, Turkey, Poland, Hungary, Greece, Lithuania, Macedonia, and Slovakia. According to the plan, the participants will spend 7 days together, contributing to the personal development of each of them through informal education and group learning. During the project, the following goals should be achieved:

  1. To increase understanding of the characteristics and peculiarities of youth from disadvantaged backgrounds.
  2. To improve understanding of the use of nature as a stimulating environment for learning, participation, inclusion/connection, and empowerment of disadvantaged youth.
  3. To increase specific professional competencies to use effective and sustainable nature-based methods, activities, and concepts for the development of youth from disadvantaged backgrounds.
  4. To enhance personal and professional motivation to work with disadvantaged youth.
  5. To implement plans for nature-based educational activities with youth of underprivileged environments in the countries involved in the project.
