Digital Youth Climate Action

The “Digital Youth Climate Action” project is a training course aimed at youth workers working or planning to work in the field of migration and climate change, applying modern technological solutions in their work. Two-part programme Erasmus+, the first part of which will take part in Ioannina, Greece, and the second one in Ankara, the capital of Türkiye. Two-part Erasmus+ programme is aimed at enabling youth workers become efficient and aware in the field of sustainable development and environment protection.

Activities to be undertaken in the project:

A training course for 28 people from four countries (Türkiye, Greece, Italy, Poland), including activities such as:

  • enabling youth workers to become efficient and aware entities in the field of sustainable development and climate change advocacy;
  • workshops based on non-formal education;
  • sharing knowledge and experience on working with groups of youth with special needs and on the activities in the interest of climate;
  • combining theory and practice using interactive methods.

What we do during the project:

  • We prepare creative projects on digital climate activism using modern digital tools.
  • We work in groups on the topics of climate change and digitalisation, discussing their influence on local and global levels.
  • We explore the city, its cultural heritage and local attractions.
  • We develop soft skills through non-formal education.
