The development of volunteering at the LEVEL UP Association
Project: Summer Camp LEVEL UP 2025 – we are strengthening volunteering!
The LEVEL UP Association, since the COVID-19 pandemic, has successfully developed an e-volunteering program that has become an integral part of the functioning of this organisation.
Till March 1st, 2025, we have already cooperated with 587 volunteers and interns, including 183 who are currently active in at least one of our 14 teams. Although we returned to on-site activities in Łódź, a significant part of the activities is still carried out online by people from all over Poland and beyond who support our project aimed at Łódź residents.
To deepen the cooperation, create a space for integration, and improve the actions of these teams, we organised a 3-day training and integration trip, “Summer Camp LEVEL UP 2025,” for at least 13 volunteers working remotely daily.
The project was a crucial step in strengthening volunteering based on relationships, competencies, and shared responsibilities for social activities.
It was an investment in people – those who work with passion and commitment every day.
Activities to be undertaken in the project:
- Organisation of a stationary training and integration trip
- Preparation and implementation of a 6-workshop cycle improving competencies needed for the volunteering activities and developing soft skills.
- Organisation of the integration program for the volunteers
- Building relationships and team bonds through informal activities
What we do during the project:
During the trip (May 30 – June 1) in a picturesque Uroczysko Poszewice, six carefully planned workshops were held:
- 2 integrational workshops, which allowed the participants to get to know each other better, build trust and a sense of team spirit.
- Proactivity workshops, teaching how to take initiative and influence your environment
- Motivational workshops, supporting understanding of the sources of engagement and tools enhancing motivation
- Workshop with a team roles test, which allowed the participants to discover individual predispositions and cooperate more efficiently
- Workshops on managing difficult situations in the projects, based on the true experiences of the participants
An evening bonfire, group conversations, games, and the “Złote Levelki” Gala created a space for genuine contact and strengthening of the community. The event was an opportunity to not only learn, but also to celebrate and appreciate each other.
