Be aware of your rights!

The project aims to enhance participants’ knowledge and skills in human rights, as well as equip them to conduct educational activities and promote equal treatment within their communities. Participation in the training course will allow the youth workers to actively develop themselves personally and professionally. Activities implemented as part of the project help the participants gain new experience, develop competencies and engagement in social life.

Activities to be undertaken in the project:

8-day training course in Romania
Workshops on legal protection and education on human rights, promoting learning through experience.
Motivating the participants to take more active and stronger actions in favour of human rights in their communities.
Encouraging the youth workers to cultivate a human rights culture in their everyday personal and professional lives.
Working in international groups on common solutions to the problems.
Developing practical skills of conducting classes, including different methods of non-formal education.

What do we do during the project?

We raise participants’ awareness of human rights.
We exchange experiences and build a network.
We take time for reflection after each day.
We inspire the implementation of the obtained knowledge on human rights into the activities in local communities.
We conduct workshops on education on human rights through experience and non-formal education.
We develop sensitivity to the needs of others and readiness to help.
We develop critical thinking, conscious analysis and assessment of different situations in order to facilitate making thoughtful and responsible decisions.
