Back to Basics
Back to Basics is a project focused on communication and cooperation during an exchange, which, through non-formal education, for example, using theatre, experiencing adventures, and facing challenges, aims to increase the sense of responsibility for one’s own actions, awareness of other people, and paying attention to the situations we put ourselves in.
Activities that will be undertaken during the project:
- Three partner meetings in Poland and Croatia
- One international training for LEVEL UP and SUMA personnel addressing diversity management, strategic projects, and enhancing digital competencies
- A local workshop for 30 former DiscoverEU programme participants held in Poland and Croatia, during which they will share their thoughts, tips and experiences from the programme. Based on the experiences, a guide of experiences will be developed.
- Producing a guide for future programme participants. The guide will include practical information, tips on travelling and cultural trivia for the DiscoverEU participants.
- Creation of an online platform. The internet-based platform will be an efficient tool promoting DiscoverEU, making the programme more visible and attractive for a wider group of youth.
- publication of 10 vlogs from the tours of participants under DiscoverEU.
- publication of 6 podcasts with memories of the DiscoverEU participants.
- a conference in a hybrid form, presenting the project results. The conference will be held in a stationary form in Croatia; the Polish participants will be able to join it remotely.
- a discussion meeting in Brussels with 5 representatives responsible for the DiscoverEU programme. During the meeting, we will present the youth recommendations of young people for changes in the programme, especially concerning the DiscoverEU Inclusion Action programme.
What we do during the project:
– we acquire new abilities in the scope of good communication
– we learn to solve problems
– we develop the ability to cooperate
– we step out of the comfort zone of the digital world
– we increase awareness about other cultures and traditions
