E-volunteering simulation

The goal of the project is to promote and broaden the knowledge of the idea of e-volunteering among young people. The project will be carried out in Valletta, Malta. Young people aged 18 to 30 will take part in it. Each partner organization will involve 4 participants and one TL in the project, giving them the opportunity to develop various competencies and skills. Youth activities will be supported by the workshop facilitator.

Actions that will be taken in the project:

• Leaders and facilitator meeting to prepare for the youth exchange 

• As part of the project, there will be a youth exchange in Valletta, during which we will:

1. get to know the idea of e-volunteering
2. learn about the tools available and helpful in e-volunteering
3. work in international groups, which will improve our communication skills in English
4. learn how to talk about the mission and values of the organization
5. acquire digital skills useful in the labour market
6. build organizational structures that offer opportunities to develop skills, knowledge and can give opportunities to those who live in remote places 

What we do during the project:

• we promote the idea of e-volunteering among young people 
• we encourage others to take part in such initiatives
• we acquire skills that will allow us to become volunteer coordinators in the future
• we teach how to cooperate at the international level
• we learn how to evaluate, motivate and appreciate while working in a remote team 
• we promote tolerance and mutual respect 
• we learn how to engage local communities 
• we promote self-responsibility and proactivity of young people
